In this book students are asked to make inferences about what's happening in the wonderful pictures drawn by Linda Comerford. Each sentence page poses a "what?" or "where?" question and then answers it. (ex: "What did she bake?" "She baked the cookies.") Each page ends with the question "why?" If a student truly understands what's happened in each picture, he can give an appropriate answer to the question, "why?"
